In what would be a short night for the Page starters, the Patriots (4-1,2-0) would demolish regional rival Lawrence County (1-4, 1-2). Michael Magochy would connect on 4 touchdown passes and Michael Roberts and Noah Green would each run in a touchdown en route to giving the Patriots a 41-0 victory over the Wildcats.

Balanced Offense Helps Page Bounce Back

On the Patriots’ first drive, Page was able to use their talent advantage to drive the ball deep into Wildcat territory before Michael Roberts punched the ball in from 5 yards out to give the Patriots a 7-0 lead. After stopping Lawrence County on their next drive, the Patriots took to the skies, as the drive finished off with a Michael Magochy pass to Connor Morss from 5 yards to double the Patriot advantage. On the next drive, Magochy would connect with Trevor Johnson for a 28-yard reception before Noah Green would complete the drive on the ground from 5 yards out to make the score 21-0. Magochy would then complete a 5 yard pass to Drew Metkler to further expand the Patriots lead. With less than a minute remain in the first half, Michael Roberts would take a Magochy screen pass 75 yards for a touchdown. With 2:48 left in the second half, Morss would catch his second touchdown pass from 6 yards out, which would end up being the final score, 41-0.

Defense Dominates Wildcat Wing T

A week after holding a potent Forrest offense to 12 points, the Patriot defense would smother the Lawrence County offense, holding the Wildcats scoreless and to 74 total offensive yards. Jaxson McNally would complete 2 of 4 passes for 20 yards for Lawrence County. Page would hold the Wildcats to 54 yards on 26 total rushes, none of which would go for more than 10 yards. In short, the longest drive for the Wildcats would be the drive home.

The win moves Page to 4-1, 2-0 in the region. Next week, Page plays host to undefeated BGA outside of regional play in the only matchup of Williamson County programs.
