Help with Medicare at the Spring Hill Library

spring Hill Library

Medicare’s Open Enrollment Period is from October 15- December 7. A certified SHIP Volunteer Counselor will be available at the Spring Hill Library on Thursdays from 9-12 beginning October 15 and running through December 3, 2015 to help answer questions and review Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans and/or Medicare Health Plans.

This is a free, unbiased government funded program. All part D plans should be reviewed annually. Due to the changes made by the insurance companies in premiums and in formularies, the plan that is good for you this year may not be the best one for you next year. This applies to stand alone drug plans as well as Medicare Advantage Plans with prescription drug coverage.

Please feel free to stop by the library or call the library at 486-2932 to sign up for an appointment. You will need to bring with you your Red, White and Blue Medicare card and either your medicine bottles or a printed list of your medicines from your pharmacist when you come for your appointment.

For more info go to www.springhilllibrary.org or call 931.486.2932.
