Help “The Great Pumpkin” Travel to Franklin for Pumpkinfest

great pumpkin

Each year at Pumpkinfest, one of the most popular attractions is “The Great Pumpkin,” a giant pumpkin brought to Franklin from over 2,000 miles away.

Presented by Sister Cities of Franklin and Williamson County and donated by Franklin’s sister city, Carleton Place, Ontario Canada; The Great Pumpkin has been a staple of Williamson County’s largest fall festival.

But it isn’t cheap getting The Great Pumpkin to Franklin from Canada. To help fundraise the money, Sister Cities of Franklin and Williamson County has created a Go Fundme page and they are asking the community  to  donate and sponsor a mile or more of “The Great Pumpkin’s” journey. Every donation counts.

Funds will also go towards supporting other local events hosted by Sister Cities, such as Celebration of Nations.
