Health Coaching at Parks & Rec.

If you know you need to lose weight, clean up your diet or better manage the stress in your life, how do you start? Are you confused by all the options and alternatives? Or, do you lack the motivation to stick with it? A health coach may be the answer. Health coaches are client advocates that work with you to improve health and fitness habits. Coaches can provide tools like a specific workout plan, advice on managing stress, how to incorporate exercise into your daily life and leisure time, and proper nutrition.

Williamson County Parks and Recreation is now offering a health coaching program at three locations: the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd., (615) 790-5719, ext. 2010; the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr., (615) 302-0971, ext. 2210; and the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, 920 Heritage Way (615) 370-3471, ext. 2110. Choose a facility, call to make an appointment, and meet your health coach. Begin with a consultation for $20, then schedule sessions for $50 each.

Williamson County Parks and Recreation is a public organization, here to benefit the community. Anyone may register for and participate in the department’s programs, teams, classes and events.
