It was announced that Danica McKellar will play Rachel Lewis, a single mom and Broadway producer who learns that her show will be never open but then she gets a call from a friend in Tennessee to co-produce a show for the 20th anniversary of the Smoky Mountain Christmas festival at Dollywood.

Luke, longtime Dollywood employee sets his sights on the GM position and sees the production as his way to make an impression but has to work with Rachel and they don’t seem to be working together well. However, along the way Rachel shares stories of her Appalachia upbringing to her daughter Amy that serves as an inspiration to the festival and of course, in the end, there’s love connection between Luke and Rachel.

The movie is to be filmed at Dollywood as part of the network’s 10th anniversary to its number one rated Countdown to Christmas event.
