Franklin Police were summoned to the Mallory Lane Chick-fil-A shortly after 9:30 Friday night after an employee discovered a loaded handgun in a men’s room stall. Chick-fil-A employees secured the weapon until officers arrived. The owner later called the police and said that he forgot his gun in the stall. No charges have been filed.
Parents are encouraged to talk with their children about the incident, instructing them to never touch a gun they find, to leave the area if they find one & take other children with them, and to immediately notify an adult.
