Group 1 Crew Releases new Album

Group 1 Crew
In preparing for Group 1 Crew’s latest album since 2012’s Fearless, the group, helmed by Manwell Reyes, ventured into the studio to create POWER with friends and industry veterans Seth Moseley, Tedd T, Josh Bronleewe, Josh Crosby, Jason Walker and more. Guest artists making an appearance on many of the songs are Jor’dan Armstrong, My Kid Brother, Lauryn Taylor Bach (1GN), Chris Cleveland (Stars Go Dim) and Reyes’ wife, comedian Anjelah Johnson (Mad TV’s Bon Qui Qui), is also featured.

Despite running into vocal challenges that resulted in surgery last December and not being able to talk for three months, it was actually while on the road months prior that Reyes hit a crossroad – with his career, his identity and his motivation. He created these new songs from a deeper understanding of his own worth and value in the eyes of his Creator. “God really put me in my place when He made me aware of the fact that He loved me before I even started singing a note, before anyone knew who Group 1 Crew was. Music is what I do but it’s not who I am. It’s been an amazing revelation to know this and find freedom from what others may think of me.”

POWER is available at iTunes and everywhere music is sold and can also be heard in full as a visual playlist on YouTube. The album’s five music videos are placed below, and its sixth, for the song “Hold Back The Rain” is filming this weekend and will be available soon.

Lauren Daigle Headlines Tour

Lauren Diagle

Recently, Lauren Daigle announced she would be headlining her own tour.  Within one short year, Diagle has gone from walking her first red carpet to winning Artist of the Year at the 2016 K-LOVE awards.

Partnering with CURE International, Daigle talks about why she chose to work with CURE International, “because of my love for the medical field and missions, I wanted to be a missionary doctor when I was in middle school. Although my path took another turn, the passion still burns to see impoverished people given a sense of freedom through transformational surgeries!”

On October 23, Diagle will be making a stop on her tour to Thompson Station Church located in Thompson Station. Purchase your tickets here and be sure to sign up on her website to be one of the lucky fans to meet Diagle before her show.
