Grassland Middle Boys’ Cross Country Team Dominated For Another Year

For the second year in a row, the Grassland Middle School (GMS) boys’ cross country team dominated the field to take the overall championship at the WMAA Championship which met in Lieper’s Fork. For the season, Grassland’s boys won every race in which they competed.

Eighth grader Davis Holliday scorched the mile-and-a-half course with a time of 7-minutes and 31-seconds to finish first out of 60 runners. He was also the first-place finisher in every race he ran this season. Job Dooley, Alex Disney, Josh McMurray and Benson Rubio all posted great finishes to help the Generals win the title.
