Grassland Gallop at Bethlehem UMC

The Grassland Gallop will be hosted by Bethlehem UMC to benefit The Center for Living and Learning November 16th at Grassland Middle School.

The benefit has a little bit for everyone in the family and is a wonderful community event! The Gallops will consist of a 6K run, a 2K walk, and a 1K Kids Fun Run.

Participants and spectators can listen to the knee-slapping sounds of the Bethlehem Bluegrass Band, while enjoying hot chocolate and pastries.

Grassland Gallop TeeThe run will take place through the scenic Grassland back roads, so tighten up those shoe laces and get ready to haul over a few hills.

The awards will consist of home-made baked goodies that will be given for top participants in divisions for the 6K. The top male and female runners of the 6K will win an organic turkey! This year, the 6K will be chip timed by “A Matter of Timing”. All this deliciousness is just in time for the holidays!

The 2K walk and 1K Kids Fun Run will take place on the nature trail behind the Grassland Schools. All this fun with friends and family, while benefiting the Center for Living and Learning, a local, residential group home and vocational rehabilitation center for adults with disabilities.
