GraceWorks Second Annual Ride the Vines is April 23

Enjoy the upcoming spring with a bike ride through the charming countryside of southeastern Williamson County at the second annual Ride the Vines benefiting GraceWorks.

The April 23 event will begin and end at Samary Plantation, 2133 Allisona Road in Eagleville. Novice and experienced riders can choose from a 23-mile or 50-mile ride. Both routes include the challenge of Pull-Tight Hill.

The ride will feature a staggered start with the first beginning at 8 a.m. Brunch will be served afterward at Samary. The first 250 cyclists older than 21 who register will be given a special bottle of wine commemorating the event.

Early bird registration is $52 by Feb. 29. The cost is $62 from March 1 to April 21 and the day of the event.

Started in 1995, GraceWorks served Williamson County neighbors in 2015 with 50,069 needs valued at $4.5 million. GraceWorks’ 20 programs include family support, hunger prevention, seasonal needs and education. Food valued at $1.5 million was given in 2015.
