The Middle Tennessee Athletic Conference Middle School Soccer Tournament came to a conclusion on Monday in front of a large crowd at Grace Christian Academy as Grace Christian Academy defeated Aaron Academy 3-1 in the Championship Game.
GCA took a 2-0 lead into halftime with goals by Shewit Worton and Blake Rice.

Blake Rice gave GCA a 3-0 lead with 13 minutes left to play in the 2nd half. Aaron Academy scored a goal in the final 5 minutes to cut GCA’s lead to 3-1. Goalkeeper Caleb Fish came up with 8 saves to ensure the win for the Lions.
Grace Christian Academy finished their undefeated season 14-0 and brought home the first conference title in the schools history. The Lions were led throughout the season on the strong defensive play of Caleb Fish, Cole Chapman, and Luke Ptak. The Lions scored 60 goals on the season behind the feet of Blake Rice (24), Shewit Worton (15), and Makaio McDowell (10).
In the Consolation game Franklin Christian Academy defeated Sumner Academy 2-0. FCA took the lead in the first half on a goal from Justin Marcus.
Goalkeeper Hayden Weeks came up with 9 saves to secure the shutout for the Falcons. Both teams played a great game with Sumner Academy taking home 4th Place and Franklin Christian Academy taking home 3rd Place.Bennet Green put the game away with a goal for FCA with 15 minutes left in the 2nd half.
