Austin Amor ran for two touchdowns and Josh Amor ran for another, leading Grace Christian to a 27-7 road win over McEwen on Friday night.
Quarterback Austin Amor was 11-for-17 for 133 yards and two interceptions, and ran 16 times for 35 yards and two scores. Josh Amor ran 10 times for 64 and a score, and caught two balls for 16 yards.
GCA improved to 2-3 on the season after out-gaining McEwen, 329-159.
Austin Amor opened the scoring with a 3-yard, second-quarter scoring run, with the point-after try failing.
After McEwen’s Isaac Carter scored on a 2-yard rush, Jonathan Lutz’s point-after put McEwen up a point.
But that was the last time Grace Christian trailed. Austin Amor dashed six yards for the go-ahead score with 7:08 left in the third quarter, and Josh Amor added a 6-yard scoring run, followed by a Kitch Cash 2-point conversion, for a 20-7 advantage.
Andrew Bramblett’s 20-yard run and a point-after by Sam Jones made it 27-7 with 5:36 left.
Grace Christian’s Oliver Hunter had five tackles, with three for loss, including two sacks.
GCA travels to Moore County next week.
