Grace Christian’s historical season ended in the quarterfinals of the TSSAA Division II Class A Playoffs with a 52-15 loss at Cornersville on Friday.
Quarterback Austin Amor, who’d combined for 14 touchdowns the last two weeks in GCA wins, was 17-of-29 passing for 129 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. Amor, a senior playing his last game, ran 17 times for 40 and a touchdown.
Oliver Hunter and Kitch Cash led the Grace Christian defense with six tackles each.
The Lions played from behind all night, and were out-gained, 455-198.
Cornersville’s Eli Woodard ran 30 times for 229 yards.
GCA, which got its first playoff win in school history last week at Wayne County, ends its season at 6-5.
Cornersville advanced to 11-1.
