Goodwill Hosts Job Fair With 33 Employers Tuesday

The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 937 Herman St. in Nashville will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19, for 33 employers seeking to fill more than 700 positions in Davidson and surrounding counties.

Employers include Asurion, Atlas Management Corporation, Brightview Landscape Services, Contemporary Services Incorporated, Cash America, Check Into Cash, Cypress Employment Services, Devry University, Easter Seals of Tennessee, Express Employment, FedEx, Gaylord Opryland, Goodwill, First Coast Security, Hospitality Staffing Solutions, Industrial Staffing of Tennessee, Loveless Events, Job News, Marriott International, Murray Guards, O’Reilly Auto Parts Distribution Center, Nashville Airport Motel, Pride Staff, Prudent Health Services, Publix Supermarket, SMX Staffing, Sunstates Security, STF Companies, Tennessee State University, The Green Truck Movers, TWB, Walden Security and Yates Services.

Openings include mental recovery coach, custodial, rest area attendant, job coach, caregiver, van driver, laundry attendant, office services, cashier, commercial driver, retail, loss prevention, forklift, baker and other positions. Rates of pay range reach $18 per hour.

Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
