Goodwill Hosts Job Fair With 25 Employers Tuesday

UPDATE: A Goodwill-hosted job fair in Nashville originally scheduled for today — Tuesday, Jan. 16 — will be postponed one week because of snow showers and potentially hazardous travel conditions.

The hiring event, planned at the Goodwill Career Solutions center at 937 Herman St., will now be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23.

from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, for at least 25 employers seeking to fill more than 700 positions in in Davidson, Wilson, Sumner, Rutherford, Bedford and Williamson counties.

Employers include 5 Star Food Service, AAA The Auto Club Group, All Pro Healthcare, At Home Healthcare, Centerplate @Nashville Sounds, Contemporary Services, DeVry University, Easter Seals Tennessee, Embassy Suites, Family Staffing Solutions, Fifth Third Bank, Goodwill, Health Connect America, Hilton Nashville Airport, Hospitality Staffing Solutions, Hotel Pro, Industrial Staffing of Tennessee, IOS Staffing, Journey’s, Metro Nashville Public Schools, Panera Bread, Park and Fly Airport Parking, People Ready, Senior Solutions Homecare and Verizon Wireless. Openings include crew member, dining
management, route driver, warehouse, registered nurse, certified nursing assistant, picnic staff, event staff, custodial, barista, accounting clerk, education support professional, licensed teacher, quality inspector and other positions. Rates of pay reach $20 per hour.

Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth
certificate.
