Red Cloud Food Services is partnering with military education charity ThanksUSA in hosting Nashville’s “Heartland 4 Heroes/ThanksUSA” golf tournament benefitting the families of US Troops.

The invitational will take place on Monday, July 22, 2019 at The Governor’s Club, 9681 Concord Road, Brentwood in support of personnel from nearby US Army’s 101st Division at Ft. Campbell starting at 7 am and ending with a luncheon.

“This is just one way we can give back to our troops who sacrifice so much in protecting our families and freedom every day,” says Robert Harrison, Chairman and Owner of RCFS in a release. “We are proud to sponsor this event for a 7th Consecutive year, building on our initial 2013 inaugural tournament which funded five (5) scholarships and have now funded a total of 62 since inception.

Nia Gibbs-Francis, one of the recipients of four consecutive H4H/ThanksUSA Scholarships stated “ThankUSA supporters, please never stop giving so selflessly. I have been afforded so many opportunities thanks to your generosity! I am grateful for all that I was able to do in my last four years. Your generosity went beyond simply affecting my life, I was able to affect and benefit the lives of others as well. I have been able to be part of various organizations and volunteer at different agencies to enhance the lives and experiences of others. I will forever be grateful to this program. My simple “thank you” will never be enough.”

The families of those who serve in our military sacrifice daily despite not wearing the uniform themselves: deployment separations, the loss of their loved ones, caring for a wounded family member, financial strains and so much more.  That’s why, as you know, it is so important for the community to recognize their service – not only those on the front line, but those at home.

The tournament is also a passion project for RCFS’s team and Brentwood resident, Felicia Dellanini who hails from an Air Force family, Dellanini is now a member of the Board of Directors of ThanksUSA. And as a golfer herself, the tournament is a meaningful way to “Play it Forward”.  Since the launch of their company’s partnership with ThanksUSA, Heartland 4 Heroes has raised more than $225,000 and awarded 62 scholarships to military spouses and children.

Attendees will gather at The Governors Club from all over the country to take part in the golf tournament with the opportunity to play with a solider. Those interested in taking part in the event can contact Felicia Dellanini at [email protected]. To learn more about Heartland 4 Heros and ThanksUSA, visit their website.
