Girls Volleyball Round Up-Sept 26

school headerOnly one a few more games before the postseason starts for Williamson County Girls Volleyball.

Let’s take a look at results and standings around the county, and who plays who in the last games of the regular season.

Class 3A-District 11

Brentwood so far this year is undefeated and sitting atop the district. The 7-0 (district) Bruins, just in the last two weeks, beat district-opponents Franklin, Summit, Centennial and Independence. Last week they beat Knoxville-Webb, Ravenwood and Dickson County, all 3-0. They have Franklin coming up again on Tuesday

Franklin is in second place, at 8-1, with the Rebels only losses coming from Brentwood. The Rebels lost to Brentwood in tournament last weekend and then beat last Centennial week. Next week, they have Summit on Monday and Brentwood again coming up on Tuesday.

Ravenwood is in third place, with a 6-4 district record. The Raptors play at Centennial on Tuesday and then at Independence on Thursday. In the last week Ravenwood beat Dickson County but lost to Brentwood.

Centennial sits at fourth, at 5-5. The Cougars lost one and won one in the last week, with a loss at Franklin and a home win against Summit. Centennial is at Ravenwood Tuesday, BGA Wednesday and hosts Dickson County to end the season.

Summit is fifth at 3-5. The Spartans lost to Centennial and Independence in the last week. Summit hosts Franklin and goes to Brentwood to end the season, a tough way to end things.

Independence is sixth at 1-7. The Eagles lost to Harpeth and beat Summit last week. They finish the season against St. Cecilia Monday, Dickson County Tuesday and Ravenwood on Thursday.

Division II-AA

Father Ryan moved up to first place last week, at 6-0. The Fighting Irish beat Brentwood Academy and Harpeth Hall in the last week, and have Ensworth on Wednesday and Baylor on Tuesday.

Brentwood Academy is fifth at 2-4. The Eagles lost to Father Ryan and Ensworth. But have a chance to get wins against Girls Hall on Tuesday and Pope John Paul II on Thursday.

Division II-A

Battle Ground Academy is in fifth, at 2-2. The Wildcats have theWebb School on Tuesday and end the season against Centennial on Wednesday.

Franklin Road Academy plays Christ Presbyterian on Monday and Davidson on Tuesday to end the season.

Class A District 11

Grace Christian is 1-6, and plays Knoxville Central on Monday. Then play at Powell on October 1, and Berean on the 5th.

Class AA District 12

Page is in first place with a 5-0 record. The Patriots beat Spring Hill and CPA last week. Page plays at Giles County on Tuesday and Hume Fogg on Wednesday. Spring Hill plays Summertown Monday and at CPA on Tuesday. CPA plays at FRA on Monday.

Class AA District 11

Fairview is 2-8. The Yellowjackets play at McEwen on Monday, Hickman County on Tuesday and end the season at Camden Central on Thursday.
