The Girls Volleyball Regional tournament started this week and ends on Friday.
State competition comes next week. Here is how Williamson County schools have done so far:
Page Getting Kills in Class AA
District 12 champ Page beat Hickman County on Tuesday 3-0 at Camden Central High School in the regional semifinals. The Patriots, later Tuesday, swept Camden 3-0 in the Regional Finals. Page played Greenbrier in Sectionals Thursday night, won and moves on to State.
On Tuesday District 12 runner-up CPA lost to Camden at Camden Central’s gym, 3-0 in the Regional Semifinals.

Bruins Set in Class AAA
District 11 champ Brentwood beat District 12 runner-up McGavock 3-0 in the Reginal Semifinals at Brentwood High School on Tuesday afternoon. District 11 runner-up Franklin swept district 12 winner Hillsboro 3-0 on Tuesday at Brentwood.
Later Tuesday the Bruins and the Lady Rebels squared off in the Regional Finals, which Brentwood won 3-0.
Brentwood played Regional runner-up Portland at home Thursday night in a Sectional game, winning 3-0 and qualifying for State tournament.
Franklin Rebels beat Beech 3-0 Thursday night, setting them up for State.

Division II Action
On Tuesday Brentwood Academy beat Pope John Paul II at home 3-0 in the Division II Sectional. The Eagles visit Briarcrest on Friday for the quarterfinals.
Father Ryan, No. 2 seed in East/Middle district of D-II, had a bye. They will host Harpeth Hall on Oct. 16 in the quarterfinals.
The State tournament starts on Oct. 21.
