A Texas investment firm has purchased Gigi’s Cupcakes
Gigi Butler, who opened Gigi’s Cupcakes in 2008, now has more than 100 franchises across the country, reports Nashville Business Journal.
“Sales are at an all-time high and we have new franchisees interested in joining our family, so it was critical that we find someone that not only had the resources and the expertise to take Gigi’s to the next level, but also reflected our Christian values,” Butler said in a prepared statement given to the Star-Telegram.
Corporate office for Gigi’s Cupcakes will be moved from Nashville to Fort Worth, according to the Star-Telegram. According to the paper, about half of Gigi’s 20 corporate jobs will be retained.
