September 3, 2025 – Two Georgia men are behind bars after Franklin Police detectives said they stole more than $9,200 worth of circuit breakers from a local home improvement store.
Jaiquan Monplaisir, 26, of Norcross, Georgia, and Jahmeek Bennett, 23, of Walnut Grove, Georgia, are both charged with Shoplifting-Theft of Property, and Organized Retail Crime.
The crime occurred in Franklin on August 11 at the store on Mallory Ln. Investigators allege the duo made off with 100 circuit breakers from the business.
Monplaisir and Bennett are also suspected of similar crimes at home improvement stores in Columbia, Tullahoma, Shelbyville, Greenville, South Carolina, and Clemson, South Carolina.
The pair is locked up in the Williamson County Jail, where bonds have been set at $7,000 each.
