Although “Game of Thrones” has just ended its sixth season, avid fans of the HBO fantasy/sci-fi show have something to celebrate. Next summer, Con of Thrones – The Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire fan convention will take place in Nashville.
The event is slated for June 30 – July 2, 2017 and will offer fans a weekend of in-depth discussion, and celebration of George R. R. Martin’s epic fantasy phenomenon. Venue information has not been released yet.

Watchers on the Wall, a site committed to all things Game of Thrones, is hosting the event and writes on their site “we here at Watchers couldn’t be more thrilled to spend the next year refining, hammering Con of Thrones into the celebration this ever expanding community deserves.
