No other details, like a release date or cast confirmations, were immediately available, according to Variety‘s report, but it’s likely still a bit of a way’s off. The original, with the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and others, opened Nov. 22, 2013 and has grossed over 1.2 billion dollars worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. The animated short Frozen Fever hits theaters this weekend in front of Disney’s Cinderella, and a Broadway version of the show is in the works as well. Goofy Kristen Bell celebrates on Twitter.
