The 2016 Williamson County Art Show features some of the finest artwork created by students in the school district. More than three hundred young artists from kindergarten through twelfth grade are included in this exhibition. Elementary and middle school art teachers selected two works per grade level, and high school art teachers selected two works from each art course offered at their schools. All forty-one Williamson County schools are participating in the show.

Williamson County Art Show will take place from Saturday Feb. 27-Sunday,Mar 13,2016 at The Frist Center.

Art Show Opening Event will take place on Saturday,Feb 27 from 10am-5:30pm.

The Frist Center opened in April 2001, and since that time has hosted a spectacular array of art from the region, the country, and around the world.

Unlike any traditional museum you’ve ever visited, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts has become a magnet for Nashville’s rapidly expanding visual arts scene. With an exhibitions schedule that has new art flowing through the magnificent Art Deco building every 6 to 8 weeks, no matter how often you visit, there is always something new and exciting to see in the spacious galleries.

Frist Center for Visual Arts is located at 919 Broadway,Nashville. Open seven days a week,Monday-Wednesday from 10am-5:30 pm,Thursday-Friday from 10 am -9pm,Saturday 10:30 am -5:30 pm and Sunday 1pm-5:30 pm.  Admission is free for those 18 and younger. Adult admission -$12.00.
