It’s official the memorandum of understanding between the City of Franklin and the Friends of Franklin Parks, LLC., has been signed. “It is great to finally have signed this document which will allow us to move forward in a positive manner on a variety of projects,” said Board of Governors President Dr. Monty McInturff. “City staff and leadership have been great to work with and very encouraging about the potential of this partnership.”
Franklin Mayor Moore and McInturff signed the agreement on Tuesday, September 18th. Moore and his wife Linda were among the first donors to Friends of Franklin Parks, LLC. with a leadership gift of $1,000 and a challenge to the city’s aldermen to lend their support.
