FREE Gardening Tips at Brentwood Library

Spring is just around the corner and the Brentwood Library has two FREE seminars coming up this month to help you start your garden right in 2015.

Gardening: Starting Seeds Indoors
Thursday, March 19, 1 -3 p.m.
Learn how to add more variety to your garden by starting seeds indoors. Many long-season vegetables and summer-blooming annual flowers must be started indoors in early spring for the best results. Amy Dismukes presents the relatively inexpensive way to make the most of your garden in 2015 as well as information about microgreens.

Gardening: Early Spring Gardening
Thursday, March 26, 1-3 p.m.
Learn which plants can thrive in cool temperatures and withstand light frosts with presenter Amy Dismukes.

About the presenter:
Amy Dismukes holds a Masters degree of Agriculture in Plant Pathology and Entomology and Bachelor degrees of Science in Horticulture: Sustainable Fruit and Vegetable Production and Liberal Arts from Auburn University. Dismukes is also the UT/TSU Horticulture Extension Agent for Williamson County.
