Free EMS Nite Lites Event Honors First Responders

Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) will host EMS Nite Lites 2018 at the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Blvd. on Saturday, September 29 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This free event honoring our community’s first responders will feature police cars, ambulances, fire trucks and other emergency vehicles. Bring the entire family out to honor those who serve our community.

Kids can meet local law enforcement officers and climb aboard their vehicles for a close-up look. Participants include Vanderbilt Lifeflight, the Tennessee Department of Transportation, Fairview Fire Department and Police Department, Williamson County Rescue, Williamson Medical Group, MJ Wrecker Services, and the Williamson County Highway Department. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sign the giant “thank you” banner to express gratitude to the local law enforcement and rescue community.

EMS Nite Lites 2018 will also feature free music, a bounce house, and crafts.  Guests can enter to win raffle prizes, paint a rock with #615 Rocks!, visit a face painting booth or enjoy playing games such as gaga ball and 9 square-in-the-air. Food trucks including Tika’s Concessions, The Cool Kernel and Savory Smoke will be on hand (cost incurred) with delicious treats.
