After spending three years as the head man for the Rebels, Jamie Wilson has decided to step down from his position as head basketball coach at Franklin. Wilson says he will be leaving his position to go into academic administration.

Wilson has been the head basketball coach at Franklin since 2013. Before his time as coach of the Rebels, Wilson was the head man at Harpeth High since 2001. He finished his coaching career with an overall record of 207-158. Before getting into coaching, he played for Martin Methodist, where he helped to lead the Red Hawks to an NAIA tournament appearance in 2001.

This season, Wilson led the Rebels on an improbable late season run in the Region 6-AAA tournament, where the Rebels finished one win shy of the sectionals round.
