Mark Basenberg is officially the Community Relations Coordinator for Williamson County. His expertise and experience are a welcome addition to the Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center said Doug Brightwell, Director. With growth and last year’s census come new voter registration cards. Be on the lookout for yours in the mail soon. Cards should be out by July 1st and early voting begins July 13th.

The new sidewalk sign rules were established for downtown Franklin. A continuous path must be left open with at least 4 feet of clearance at all times. Businesses will be paying a $50 annual fee to place signs on the sidewalk.

Aldermen also voted in favor of the “Barn” becoming an event venue. I am sure the Melz’s new venue will not cause any problems for their neighbors.
