Franklin High School kicked off its season with a 28-20 win against Clarksville North East.  The Rebels made their way down to Clarksville to take on the Northeast Eagles.

Ben Hagaman graced the end zone with a pass from quarterback Joe Critchlow in the first quarter to put up the first points on the board.

Also, Franklin’s DJ Burns made contact with Crtichlow to run in another touchdown for the Rebels within the first half to take a 14-7 over the Eagles.

Michael Edwards made sure to secure a good grip over Clarksville N.E. as he scored with just minutes left in the second quarter.  Edwards totaled up the 28 points on the board for the Rebels as he had his second touchdown in the third.

Franklin will travel over to Dickson County next week and kick-off at 7:30 p.m.
