The City of Franklin kicked off its annual Movies in the Park Summer Series on May 30 with a screening of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest at Fieldstone Park. Families and friends gathered with blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic dinners to enjoy the free outdoor showing under the stars.
The popular community series continues throughout the summer and into the fall, offering a lineup of family-friendly favorites:
- Shrek 2 – June 20 at Fieldstone Park
- Toy Story 2 – June 27 at Pinkerton Park
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – July 18 at Pinkerton Park
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier – October 10 at Bicentennial Park
All movies are free to attend. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to grab a good spot and enjoy the festive, family-friendly atmosphere.
