The pitch-and-catch duo of Eric Stoxstill-Diggs and Lance Wilhoite did it again for Franklin Road Academy, which scored a 17-6 over St. George’s in a TSSAA Division II Class AA playoff win over St. George’s.

Stoxstill-Diggs was 22-of-31 for 275 yards and two touchdowns. The senior quarterback ran 13 times for 61 more yards and had five tackles on defense.

Wilhoite caught 10 of those balls for 140 yards and had both touchdowns. He also blocked the point-after on St. George’s only touchdown, which came with 4:15 to play.

Stoxstill-Diggs hit Wilhoite with a 41-yard scoring pass in the first quarter, a Jack Norris point-after putting FRA up 7-0.

After a 31-yard Norris field goal with 3:52 left in the third quarter, the Panthers’ lead stood at 10.

Jacob Jackson had 16 tackles, 10 solo, for FRA (5-6).

The Panthers’ Watson Tansil added three catches for 47 yards and four tackles.

The bad news: FRA travels to unbeaten Lausanne, which won 35-0 over Northpoint Christian on Friday.
