Franklin Road Academy quarterback Eric Stoxstill-Diggs threw for three touchdowns, and Riley Speed and Watson Tansil each scored on interceptions, as the Wildcats won at Hickman County, 48-7.
Stoxstill-Diggs was 6-of-6 passing for 103 yards, and ran twice for 36 more. Wide receiver Lance Wilhoite had six catches for 92 yards and a score.
Speed also caught four passes for 68 yards and a score.
With his team leading by 28 at the break, Speed started the second half with a 100-yard interception return.
Stoxstill-Diggs threw a pair of 22-yard scoring passes to Speed and Wilhoite for the game’s first touchdowns.
Tansil added a 64-yard interception return, then, Stoxstill-Diggs hit Strohn Johnson with a 29-yard touchdown pass.
That lead was 34-7 at half, the last FRA points coming on Brogan Wilson’s 49-yard run, followed by a Norris point-after.
The Wildcats’ Will Johnson had a 40-yard, fourth-quarter scoring run.
FRA defensive lineman Tymon Mitchell had seven tackles and 1 12 stops for loss. Jacob Johnson also had five tackles for the Wildcats.
Franklin Road Academy (4-5) hosts Christ Presbyterian Academy next week.
