The Franklin Police Department is inviting community members to join officers for the 2nd Annual Chicken with a Cop event at Chick-fil-A. This year’s gathering will take place over dinner, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy a meal while getting to know the men and women who serve their city.
In addition to dinner, the event will feature a Touch a Truck component in the Chick-fil-A parking lot. Families will have the chance to explore police vehicles up close and meet the officers who use them every day.
At last year’s inaugural event, officers not only mingled with patrons, but also stepped behind the counter to serve food inside the restaurant, take orders in the drive-thru line, and prepare milkshakes and other drinks. Residents can expect to see officers once again taking part in the same hands-on, lighthearted activities this year.
The event is designed to strengthen community connections in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Attendees can ask questions, learn more about police work, and enjoy a fun evening together.
