The Franklin Police Department announced the passing of Brad Lewis, whose generosity and craftsmanship touched countless local families.
For years, Lewis built and donated dozens of wooden toy chests for the department’s annual holiday toy drive. He dedicated his work to the memory of his daughter, Kristi Clark, and grandson, Carter Oakley, who tragically lost their lives in 2015 while helping others on I-65.
The department said Lewis’s kindness and dedication will have a lasting impact on the community.
This year’s toy drive will be held in honor of Brad, alongside Kristi and Carter.
