A Nashville woman remains jailed after Franklin Police stopped her pursuant to a be on the lookout broadcast from security forces at the CoolSprings Galleria.
Monday night, officers stopped the car that 24-year-old Drewcilla Johnson was driving after security reported that Johnson had been in the process of bagging up a large amount of merchandise at Victoria’s Secret. She, however, abandoned those bags and left after security entered the store.
When Franklin Police stopped Johnson, she was found in possession of stolen merchandise from other stores. Johnson, who lied to officers about her identity, was already wanted by police in several other jurisdictions.
Johnson was arrested and charged with Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Tools to Defeat Anti-Theft Devices, Criminal Impersonation, Driving on a Revoked License (3rd Offense), and having an unrestrained child in her vehicle.
Drewcilla Johnson is a convicted felon who was out of custody on probation. She is being held, without bond, in the Williamson County Jail and due in court on July 16.
