Franklin Mayor to Make Cameo in Studio Tenn’s Spamalot

Studio Tenn

The cast and crew of Studio Tenn have requested Mayor Moore to do a cameo in their production of the musical comedy, Monty Python’s Spamalot.

Mayor Moore will be in the Sunday, May 7 performance at 2 p.m.

“I am nervous and plan to sweat a little,” said Moore. “My last part in a play was in high school, but my experience singing and dancing for the city will help. I have confidence the Studio Tenn Professionals will show me the way! I hope to have a little fun and invite Franklin to come see the performance.”

He may not have been in a play since high school, but Mayor Moore has shown he can play a mean air guitar, as seen in this video from last year.

Monty Python’s Spamalot is a hilariously irreverent parody of the Arthurian legend, inspired by the 1975 cult classic movie “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.” The production takes place at The Factory from May 4-21, 2017. Purchase tickets online at the Studio Tenn website.
