Franklin Man Wanted for Attempted Murder Surrenders

marquece-cortez-crawfordUPDATE 1/12/2018: Crawford surrendered a short time ago. Charged with three counts of Attempted Criminal Homicide, he is being held on a $900,000 bond. Crawford is due in court 01/25/2018 at 1:00 pm.

Franklin Police have filed Attempted Criminal Homicide warrants (x3 counts) against 22-year-old Marquece Crawford. Detectives identified Crawford as the gunman who fired multiple shots into a vehicle occupied by three acquaintances during an argument, January 4, on Good Neighbor Road. Crawford is considered armed & dangerous.

Franklin Police and Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for
anonymous information on Crawford’s whereabouts.
