Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival

Countdown is underway for the inaugural Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival that will take place on May 14, 2016 from 3pm-9m, at the picturesque Westhaven community in Franklin.

Sponsored by Vanderbilt Health, Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival is destined to become one of Franklin’s top family-friendly events. With an estimated attendance of 5,000 guests, this event will provide an affordable, fun opportunity for the whole family. The event will include craft vendors, live music, food trucks, KidZone and conclude with a spectacular hot air balloon glow at dusk. Event activities with begin at 3pm ending at 9pm with a balloon glow.

Noted to be one of the most photographed events  in Williamson County, the Franklin Hot Air Balloon festival offers not only a colorful view but you will also  get to experience up close the hot air balloons. You will see the balloons inflating for the glow event starting at approximately 7:45 and tethered rides will be available at the event. Entertainment for the event includes: sister duo-Mersi Stone, Brian Ritchey, Sara Syms, Flat River Band, and Great Peacock.

Tickets for the event are on sale now. General admission tickets are $15, VIP experience tickets are $60 which includes premium parking, 2 tickets for alcoholic beverages, tented seating, commemorative t-shirt, and all you can eat BB-Q. Be sure to buy your tickets early, as this event will sell out as there are only a limited number of tickets available. A portion of the ticket sells goes to support Mercy Community Healthcare.
