This year, 74 Franklin students participated in the YMCA Youth in Government Conference in Nashville.

The weekend Nina Donovan, Chloe Kindell, Diana Pope, Zach Wolfson, Musa Subramaniam and Emily Hopkins represented FHS at the District III Forensics/Speech, Debate and Drama Tourney.

Two District Champs — Musa in Extemporanepis Speaking and Zach Wolfson in Impromptu Speaking.  Emily Hopkins claimed the District runner-up title in Humorous Interpretation.  All 3  advance to the State Tourney.

SPRING MARKET
April 11, 2015      10am – 4pm
The Franklin High School Class of 2016 is pleased to announce the 1st Annual FHS Spring Market; a one-day shopping event at Franklin High School. Spring Market is a gift show featuring artisans, craft makers and merchants from the local area.  Enjoy shopping for exceptional and unique gifts including apparel, home décor, jewelry, accessories, gourmet foods and sweets.  Proceeds raised from the Spring Market support the Franklin High School Class of 2016.
Davis Holliday has set a new school record in the 1600m or mile with a time of 4:30 sec.

Anderson Robinson Scholarship—Seniors who have been accepted to and plan to attend either the University of Tennessee-Knoxville or Vanderbilt University in Fall 2015 are eligible to apply. Award amounts will vary.  Students may pick up an application from Mrs. Womack in the Counseling Center.  Deadline to submit the application is April 17, 2015.
