Franklin Half Marathon returns for second year

After a successful first year, the Franklin Half Marathon will continue this year on June 7th.

Unlike the Music City Marathon route that took runners through Music Row and LP Field, this unique course goes through the unincorporated town of Leiper’s Fork,  about 25 miles south of Nashville, home to many country stars.  While a scenic course, it is also very challenging: forecasts for June in Tennessee can be hot and muggy, and not to mention the rolling hills can make legs feel heavier.
