Franklin Girl Scout Troop Creates Little Library

Girl Scout 2507

On Saturday, September 30, Franklin Girl Scout troop 2507 earned their Girl Scout Bronze Award by creating a community “Books for Bronze Little Library” for the Franklin Estates Mobile Home section 3 community on Main Street in Franklin. The 6th-grade girls held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community celebration for the residents of Franklin Estates.

The Girls celebrated with cooking, face painting, playing music, visiting with the community, presenting the outdoor library that they rebuilt and painted. The Girl Scouts collected between 800-1,000 books for the library and will continue to restock it for the community.
