With spring in the air, your Williamson Source took a trip out to the Franklin Farmer’s Market. Check out our video as we strolled through the bazaar to find out what was in season and what to expect soon. “Eating in Season” is what farmer’s markets are all about and now it is the title of their new cookbook.
Beginning May 4th you can purchase the cookbook as you visit the market and pick up your weekly fair. If you are missing a fresh home cooked meal then hit up Amerigo’s in Cool Springs when they host the monthly Farmer’s Market Dinner. Chef Robilio hosts an incredible five-course dinner every month, created with fresh ingredients from the market for just $45. There are still spots open for the end of the month so call to reserve now: (615) 377-7070.
The Market is open 9 a.m. to Noon through April then 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May through October. Find them behind the Factory at 230 Franklin Road at the corner of Liberty Pike.
