Franklin Downtown Neighborhood Association Meets this July

The Franklin Downtown Neighborhood Association will host a meeting on July 8th at 3 P.M. at La Casa de mi Padre on Fourth Avenue. Any resident is welcome to attend and yearly dues for the association are only $20.

“Every summer, we gather the membership to get to know our new neighbors, discuss our priorities for the year and recognize those who have made outstanding contributions to Downtown Franklin,” said DNA President Ernie Bacon. “More than anything, it’s a great excuse to get the members together and enjoy each other’s company.” Fourth Ward Alderman Margaret Martin, City Administrator Eric Stuckey and Franklin Police Chief David Rahinsky will each provide updates on behalf of the City, and Williamson County Convention and Visitors Bureau – Heritage Tourism Director Deborah Warnick will unveil a new Downtown Walking Tour.

The board will then discuss priorities for the association and will retire to the home of Margaret and Bob Martin at 238 Third Avenue for an ice cream social following the meeting. Families are asked to bring a plate of cookies to the social, ice cream will be provided.
