United Way LogoHave you prepared for the Franklin Cross Country Fun Run and 5K? The Franklin 5K Cross Country Fun Run 2013 will benefit the United Way and is sponsored by the City of Franklin. Harlinsdale Farm will fill with runners at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 5th.

The 5k Run and Walk is a non-certified course and awards will be given for the 1st place male and female finisher, 1st place 12 and under female and male finisher and 1st Dog Dash finalist. Registration can be in advance or on the day of the race. Make all checks payable to the United Way. Cost for the race is only $20 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. All walkers pay only $10. This run is held in conjunction with Family Day and walkers enjoy a 3K walk/K-9 cruise. Registration day of the event is an additional $5.
