Bootlegger’s Bash

Inspired by Williamson County’s unique history of bootlegging, this casual evening at Carnton Plantation will give guests the opportunity to taste local whiskey and moonshine, enjoy a delicious supper, and listen to some swanky entertainment.

Reservations are required.

Tickets are $50 per person or $75 for a couple. All proceeds from this fundraiser go toward the maintenance of The Carter House and Carnton Plantation.

Michelle Christy Named Operations Manager of Tennessee Talent

Talent acquisition and development firm Ryan Search & Consulting appointed Michele Christy operations manager to further support the company’s growth.

Christy, who joined Ryan Search in 2011 as a retained executive search manager, will direct and oversee the day-to-day efforts of the five-year-old firm, including client interface, service delivery, process management and improvement, quality assurance and employee relations and training. She has fulfilled a portion of the position’s duties for some time; the appointment further solidifies her work and focus. Christy will continue her executive placement work, as well.

30th Anniversary of ‘The Breakfast Club’ at Franklin Theatre

‘The Breakfast Club was originally released in February 1985. Now celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special showing at the  Franklin Theatre. An anniversary edition of the movie will be available on Blu-Ray and DVD.  But on Monday, August 3rd, walk down memory lane with the John Hughes movie featuring Molly Ringwald, Emilio Estevez,Judd Nelson,and Ally Sheedy.
