The Franklin High School Band is hosting its second annual Songwriter Showcase and Silent Auction on Saturday, August 8, at Franklin Special District’s Performing Arts Center, 1030 Excellence Way in Franklin. Doors open at 6 p.m., with local songwriters and FHS students taking the stage at 7 p.m.
What to Expect at the Franklin Songwriter Showcase
The evening will feature a lineup of acclaimed Nashville songwriters alongside Franklin High School’s own student musicians. The combination brings a Nashville-caliber performance experience to an intimate Franklin venue.
“We are thrilled to have some legendary songwriters joining this year’s Songwriter Night,” said FHS band director Dr. Michael Holland. “It’s a great way to experience what Nashville does best in an intimate setting right here in Franklin. We can’t thank the artists and businesses enough for supporting our student musicians and our band program.”
Tickets and How to Proceed
Tickets start at $35 per person and are available online. All proceeds go directly toward instruments, instrument repairs, equipment, and educational opportunities for student musicians throughout the year.
About the Silent Auction
The silent auction runs alongside the showcase, with participating artists and local businesses contributing to support the FHS band program.
