Franklin quarterback Josh Nichols hit receiver Chancellor Bright with a pair of first half touchdowns, and the Rebel defense did the rest, as Franklin won at McGavock on Friday night.
Franklin had just 182 yards of total defense, but didn’t need any more, because its defense got a touchdown, and held McGavock to 169 yards.
The Rebels led 21-0 at half. Nichols hit Chancellor Bright with touchdown passes of 44 and 15 yards, and Khani Kelton had a fumble return for a touchdown. Kicker Alex Cundall hit all three extra points.
Franklin (2-2) plays Independence at home next week.
