After a tough 35-10 loss to Christian Academy of Knoxville in Week 0, Franklin Road Academy will travel to Goodpasture Christian School Friday night.

The Panthers will look for better offensive production after scoring only one touchdown against CAK despite rushing for 200 yards. That lone touchdown, a 9-yard Tim Coving run, came in the fourth quarter after CAK had already built a sizeable lead.

Walker Casey and Sam Harvin lead FRA in rushing with 67 yards and 55 yards, respectively lead.

Meanwhile, FRA will need to improve its passing game, as quarterback Spence Jones completed just over a third of his passes and threw two picks while CAK’s junior quarterback John Sharpe threw three touchdowns.

Goodpasture narrowly won its opener against Clarksville High School 22-21. The Cougars are coming off a 5-7 season that ended with a 62-31 round one loss to CPA.

FRA and Goodpasture will kickoff Friday night at 7 p.m.
