FRA Runs To Win At Donelson

Friday night hosting Donelson Christian Academy (2-1, 0-1), the Panthers stayed unbeaten and won their first II-A district game of the year, 42-21.

FRA, unlike in its double-overtime nail-biter against Columbia last week, looked dominant all night.

FRA Lived in the End Zone

FRA ran for 238 yards and 5 touchdowns, outgaining Donelson by more than 150 yards on the ground.

The Panthers were led by Larry Wilhoite, who scored three touchdowns and gained 96 yards on just 11 carries.

Wilhoite scored in almost every quarter, the first, third and fourth.

Sam Harvin added 70 yards on 9 carries for the Panthers.

FRA came out swinging, scoring 28 points in the first quarter. Three came off of runs, but Harvin on a sort-of trick play also threw a 69-yard touchdown to Eric Stoxstill-Diggs.

Spence Jones had an efficient day at quarterback for FRA, gaining 85 all-purpose yards and scoring a rushing touchdown.
