FRA v. CAK -Recap

The Panthers of Franklin Road Academy traveled to Knoxville Friday evening to take on the Warriors of the Christian Academy of Knoxville. Despite the 49-28 score line, there were a lot of positives for Franklin Road to take from the game.
Things got off to a rough start for the Panthers as they gave up 21 unanswered points. It wasn’t until the 2nd Quarter when Junior QB Spence Jones hooked up with Senior tight end Keeling Hunter for a big pass to get the Panthers into scoring territory.
Senior Running Back Walker Casey set up the run into the end zone to put them on the board. Jones would later use his own feet to get a touch down to end the half. To begin the second half Spence Jones would throw a huge 62 yard touchdown to bring the Panthers within one possession.
After another possession the Panthers were in scoring territory. They would fumble the ball, giving the ball back to CAK, who went on to score 21 unanswered points. Final Score: FRA 28   CAK 49
Franklin Road will have their home opener next Friday as they welcome the Cougars of Goodpasture Christian.
